Children’s Book Author Susan Rochester Zucconi

My writing and ideas for my children’s books flows very easily onto paper. I usually listen to music in the background in a quiet room. When I write my children’s stories, they are about my childhood memories, places I have traveled, and other similarities. I chose the name The Crumbgrabbers because having two boys of my own, when they were toddlers they would eat everything on their plate.

My ideas for the characters Crumby, Crumbcake, and Crumbun were of the three dolls I had in my childhood. But of course I had to put my “zing” and my creativity to create my unusual characters with their cake-like heads.

I have received numerous, positive reviews for my extraordinary writing because of the positivity in each message that my children’s books display.
Furthermore, I think of myself as a big kid at heart. I enjoy reading to children. The joy in delight they express on their faces is very touching to me and warms my heart.

My characters Crumby, Crumbcake, and Crumbun are very lovable, amusing, and delightful in the eyes of children, parents and teachers. Their adventures take the reader to simpler times when youngsters had to use their imagination for amusement and playtime mostly consisted outdoors with friends.
